Currently listening to the second song of this album, fingerprints by Seim. Whole album is called Earthly Citizen, a drum and bass album. Surprised I found it on YouTube.

I was introduced to it on one of those random drum and bass comps you find almost everywhere. Bought the album off of Bandcamp.

Here's a very fun trivia: The first guy singing in that vid was also the voice actor for Goku in the original Korean dub of Dragon Ball Z, before multiple re-dubs took place years later.

i remember listening to a lot of kpop 15+ years ago, a lot of it felt very stylistically distinct to me, borrowing from a host of different styles from many different countries
it does seem a tad more homogenised these days

I love Deftones

Saturday Night Wrist is a pretty good album with only 2 songs I don't like. That being Rats!Rats!Rats! and Pink Cellphone. Other than those two it has strong opening songs and a great instrumental song in the middle that's named after the Konami code.
