I recently been playing the power-pop, post emo and garage revival stuff from 2001-06, as basis for this "volleyball romcom comic" I'm still building upon (I'm releasing it soon, will provide links when I get some pages up) It "fits" the tone I'm going for this comic. So bands like Rival Schools, Ash, White Stripes, Head Automatica, The Hives, The Vines, The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, , Bloc Party. . .even Coheed and Cambria (the first two albums, specifically). . .that specific era 2001 to 2006 was something else.
