PS2 What are some ps2 games you recommend?

I have been getting into emulation recently specifically for the ps2 so what are some of your favorite ps2 titles that you would recommend?

Devil Kings is really good, it's a Warriors-like but it's way more anime

God Hand is pretty difficult to pick up but its a blast if you can get a hang of the controls.

the dragonballs ones (tenkaichi 3 imho is the better one) gran turismo 4 and the need for speed ones for racing and the obvious final fantasy/kingdom hearts games for rpg

If you like shooters, I'd recommend Timesplitters: Future Perfect and Red Faction II, remnants of a time when developers put a lot of effort on bots for offline multiplayer, something that now it's almost extinct;

For action-adventures and also racing games you really can't go wrong with mid-2000 Rockstar: other than the usual GTA pentalogy, I'd recommend Red Dead Revolver and Midnight Club 3, but also the more niche Smuggler's Run, which is dumb fun.

As for RPGs you really can't go wrong with both Kingdom Hearts I and II, but also the modern Persona duology if you're into nice stories.

Sorry if my choices are not very original but I think that those games are regarded as the best in their genre for a reason.

If you like niche japanese genre like me;
Kamen Rider Kabuto is a real good arena brawler, especially if you learn the controls.
Golden Knight Garou is also a good arena brawler although it can be hard and unfair at times.
Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth is a good one if you prefer fast and flashy but no combo inputs 2.5D fighting game.

None of these games have an english translation but you can go through just fine

is actually the seal of orichalcos from yugioh , there are actually also some nice yugioh games on ps2 too also if not at the same level of the psp/ds ones

I recommend the ones I've loved:
STELLA DEUS (strategy rpg with lots of secret characters to recruit)
ATELIER IRIS 3 (turn-based rpg with one or two character that can change "classes")
SOUL CALIBUR 3 (fighting and also a quest with your own character)
FINAL FANTASY X and yes, X-2 too (if you haven't played them already in the modern remaster)
ODIN SPHERE (same as above)
SUIKODEN V (lots of characters to recruit, big world to explore, big battles with your army that you could like or not - I didn't, but still)

Ah, I didn't realise Yugioh drew from real occult influences, that's pretty cool. Kind of like Evangelion showing the kabbalistic Tree of Life during the intro.
