Jokes aside though, I do recommend Final Fantasy XII for its story, unique gameplay, and unique setting.
Can’t go wrong with beatmania either, assuming you have the controller for it.

I have the Zodiac Age version of PS4. As the original PS2 version is still recommended for more challenge, aside the incrementions done for Zodiac Job System, Zodiac Age mixes the two versions in one, but also increases the difficulty and the carefullness to decide what job every member of the six character group will use(an free update allows you to chose a secondary job after events of the middle of the game - if your first job table is completed - making Zodiac Age more fun).

I love Tenchu, especially The Wrath of Heaven. But IMHO, Shinobido are way better than any Tenchu games. I really love that you can choose your own story and which lord you sided with, it would be a perfect ninja stealth game if the control are easier and less repeating level design. I just hope some company remake this game someday.

Noway you said Shinobido is better than any tenchu game, it's incredibly sloppy but not a bad game. Wrath of Heaven wasn't a good tenchu game The first 2 were the best one.

If you like shooters, I'd recommend Timesplitters: Future Perfect and Red Faction II, remnants of a time when developers put a lot of effort on bots for offline multiplayer, something that now it's almost extinct;

For action-adventures and also racing games you really can't go wrong with mid-2000 Rockstar: other than the usual GTA pentalogy, I'd recommend Red Dead Revolver and Midnight Club 3, but also the more niche Smuggler's Run, which is dumb fun.

As for RPGs you really can't go wrong with both Kingdom Hearts I and II, but also the modern Persona duology if you're into nice stories.

Sorry if my choices are not very original but I think that those games are regarded as the best in their genre for a reason.

If you like niche japanese genre like me;
Kamen Rider Kabuto is a real good arena brawler, especially if you learn the controls.
Golden Knight Garou is also a good arena brawler although it can be hard and unfair at times.
Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth is a good one if you prefer fast and flashy but no combo inputs 2.5D fighting game.

None of these games have an english translation but you can go through just fine
