Back in 2012 I was part of a forum which the owner later came to be better known as the person who conceived Hat in Time. There, I saw the first concept art of Hat Kid to ever go public. (unfortunately, I lost it since I was negligent with backups back then). Before Hat Kid, Moustache Girl was intended to be the protagonist of the game, and she looked like the mascot from Pringles.

I awaited this game to come out through 5 long years and even started having doubts during that time, but when it come out it blew Mario Odyssey and Yooka-Laylee out of the water (imo). It's a pretty unique feeling watching something since its beginnings rise into popularity and public acclaim.

Hat Kid rules, I'm glad she made it.

Man, that's awesome! A Hat In Time was such a great time, and I normally don't go too big into 3D Collection Platformers. Do you have any contact with the creator still?

Nah... we traded PMs in the forum once but that was it. I think it's possible to contact him in public social medias, but in that regard I'm no different than anyone else. It's possible he might remember me, but we never became friends or anything. I did have one hell of a good time in his forums and TF2 servers tho.
