What age did you started to play video games?

Yeah probably around 4 as well? I remember playing this thing on my dad's PC - that was probably the first videogame I ever played.

I tried to talk about this the other day and it started a whole argument about how it was supposedly impossible for someone my age to play games back then.

Oh yeah, then how was I doing it

But I digress; less than 1.

about 4 or 5.

i have a couple of drawing ideas that i'm working on, they are kind of mother's day themed, centered around a couple of characters that i came up with. one of them was born holding a game and watch ball game with a maxed out scored on it.

So hard to remember, but I guess from what I remember the most…maybe 5

I don't actually know. My first real console was the Nintendo DSi I got around Christmas. So around 2011, me being around 7 years old. That said, my dad had an old GameBoy and I must have played with it before that, at least occasionally.

But I also remember playing point&click puzzle games on my dad's computer and that was definitely before I got my DS, because I never put that thing down afterwards. When exactly, I have no idea.

My parents were cautious with the media I consumed. For that I'm grateful, to an extend, even if it didn't help much.

I like to joke that I was born with an NES controller in my hands ?

Good thing they did, the way games are nowadays.
People would occasionally find a rare, pornographic Nintendo or Atari game back in the 90s, but it was few and far between and almost never happened. But with today's market and the internet, the amount of exposure to lewdness in gaming is so high I don't even know how they keep kids from finding the stuff anymore.

I find it really hard to differentiate specifics when it's that far back - everything around the time I was like 2 to 6 years old or so is a blur.
Would have been at some point during that age bracket though.

that was part of the joke for the character, being such a hardcore gamer that she was born with a game in hand. :)

Asked around here home, my parents said I got my DS Lite when I was 6 years old... I remember playing Mario & Luigi BIS, that fucking caterpillar boss!

My mom prohibited me from having a Facebook back in the day, I was super mad because I was the only kid back in school that didn't have one. Now looking back, I'm super glad she had the forsight for not allowing her son to make an account!

I hate to be the "bad guy" like this, but sometimes it's necessary to protect children.

I was 6 when I played video games for the first time and it was the OG Sonic for the SEGA MD.

Oh no, you're absolutly correct! Children shouldn't have acess to the internet. Altough I got some level of brainrot through youtube, since I found a way to delete my search history lol. But with all things considered, I turned out ok, I guess?

I think I was six years old when I played Sonic heroes and my gaming life began.

Well, I don't know if I agree with  that, but at least make the pornography less accessible to children.

I was a young gamer of 10 when I discovered emulation, so of course I don't condone keeping kids off the internet. ?

I started when I was 4. My family at the time had a N64 and the SNES and eventually we got the PS1
