i'm actually MORE surprised by the fact that people still care about pokemon enough to worry about this.
Y are you playing it?Man what an abysmally dogshit move.
I don’t really buy or play any Pokémon spin-off games aside from a few older ones, but this one was a tiny bit interesting because it feels to me like they’re prototyping a new battle system for the mainline games, but this killed that little flicker of curiosity.
Oh well, I have a playthrough of Y I’m in the middle of, I’ll have fun with that instead.
Digimon is calling
i tried to give modern pokemon a chance but...tbqh scarlet kind of soured me. The good news is now I'm into Digimon and other niches series like Telefang and I hope Palworld is able to beat nintendo's butt in court fwiwI gave up on Pokemon LONG ago, so this neither upsets or surprises me. As far as I'm concerned the series ended with Ultra Sun & Moon.
I gave it two chances. Played both Sword and Scarlet but never made it very far in either. The open world is just terrible, it's a case of making a giant map but then not putting anything in it. The whole experience just feels hollow and empty because the world feels dead. It's not the biggest problem the games have but it's something you always have to deal with and leaves a really bad first impression. It really goes to show just how much thought and care was put into the environments of the previous games. Bigger is not always better when over half your map is just made up of big open fields.i tried to give modern pokemon a chance but...tbqh scarlet kind of soured me. this is just a sign that you need to get out morei'm actually MORE surprised by the fact that people still care about pokemon enough to worry about this.
When they call, I pickup the damn phone and by that, I mean if I had the cash, Time Stranger will be my GOTY.Digimon is calling
And where should I go according to you, because in my country NOBODY cares about pokemon, children and teenagers only play games on their phones or tablets or use tik tok and adults only care about the latest fighting games like Tekken 8 and shooters like Doom: The Dark Ages; in fact, you can visit the biggest malls in my country and you will be VERY lucky to find even one store that sells consoles, but you WILL find A LOT of stores selling smartphones, tablets, etc, and plenty more stores selling the latest PCs. My point is that in my country nintendo and pokemon are dead and gone.this is just a sign that you need to get out more
Uh, I was being facetious? I don't care where you go.And where should I go according to you, because in my country NOBODY cares about pokemon, children and teenagers only play games on their phones or tablets or use tik tok and adults only care about the latest fighting games like Tekken 8 and shooters like Doom: The Dark Ages; in fact, you can visit the biggest malls in my country and you will be VERY lucky to find even one store that sells consoles, but you WILL find A LOT of stores selling smartphones, tablets, etc, and plenty more stores selling the latest PCs. Dude I work at one of the biggest malls in my country, my job requires me to KNOW what sells and what doesn't, and in the last month not a single Nintendo Switch 2 console has been sold but smartphones, PCs and laptops have been selling like crazy.Uh, I was being facetious? But if you'd like a serious reply, okay: I sincerely do not believe that you know every person in your country and their respective likes and dislikes. Also, both Nintendo and Pokemon exist on mobile, so it isn't about being console-specific. Perhaps if you got out more, you'd be surprised at what is happening in your own back yard, it might not align with your seemingly very narrow view on things. Good luck.
That's wild man, I remember when I visited Korea years ago, it was like that. Tekken was a force there.Dude I work at one of the biggest malls in my country, my job requires me to KNOW what sells and what doesn't, and in the last month not a single Nintendo Switch 2 console has been sold but smartphones, PCs and laptops have been selling like crazy.
At least in my country nobody seems to care about consoles or nintendo.
I’m just saying that because you’re not personally seeing them, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. And everything you say does sell? All capable of running all sorts of things. Unless your country is like nine people, no one is capable of having their finger on the pulse that accurately. It’s okay, honest.Dude I work at one of the biggest malls in my country, my job requires me to KNOW what sells and what doesn't, and in the last month not a single Nintendo Switch 2 console has been sold but smartphones, PCs and laptops have been selling like crazy.
