Not talking about single entry games, but those that have at least 2+ games, spin-offs don't have to be included either as those can end up being its own entire sub-series. On my part:

-Dragon Quest except for IX(Obviously not counting X).
-The entire Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice trilogy.
-Gal Gun series.
-Shin Megami Tensei series.
-Etrian Odyssey series.
-Inazuma Eleven(The original trilogy before GO)
-Elite Beat Agents + OSU
-Devil Survivor series(Both DS and 3DS rereleases.
-Metal Slug series.

There are probably others but those are the ones I can remember on the top of my head.

Trying to go back and think, but the only things that are coming to mind are not gigantic feats:
Hexcells/Hexcells Plus/Hexcells Infinite
Eastshade/Leaving Lyndow

final fantasy, kingdom hearts, skibidi rizz toilet hammer the final strike, milky mushrooms, resident evil, arc the lad, tekken (do fighting games count as completion style games?), evergrace, king's field, clock tower and i am sure more that i am not thinking of because i have thinked too much today

Thats a lie, Kingdom Hearts 4 hasn't come out yet.

Golden Sun
Borderlands(not counting 4 since it hasn't released yet)
Mass Effect
Golden Sun
Pokemon
Ratchet & Clank
Gears of War except for Tactics
Halo except for the Wars and Spartan spinoffs
Bioshock

There may be more but I can't think of them at the moment.

Is MegaMan & Bass main series or spin-off?
it is a spin off game, but contains much of the gameplay found in mainline mega man entries. i have never played the game and know nothing about it but i desperately am trying to come across as knowledgeable on the subject and also anything in general

Wario Land series
i was very surprised to discover a week or two ago that there was a full wario land game on home consoles, on the nintendo wii
i had never heard of it or played it - i thought wario world was the farthest wario had traveled on home consoles

It mainly plays like MegaMan 8, I would not recommend it for casual gamers.

It's basically a mainline entry in everything except having a number in the title.

i see. i am a very casual gamer. i have beaten castlevania on the nintendo and megaman zero on the gameboy advance dozens of times and demons souls with one hand, but i have been told those games are very simple compared to their counterparts (and number them)

> mega man zero
> simple

no

i should really give it a try, i believe bass is even a playable character so it probably will feel more fresh than the average mainline mega man titles of that era

Unless he was playable, why do you think they'd put Bass' name in the title? For shits and giggles?

i do not think that is too unusual is it? for example the legend of zelda series normally does not feature zelda as a playable character

Well, if they made a game called Link & Zelda, I'd imagine most people would expect Zelda to be playable.
