I'm bored and a bit hungry, so let's talk about videogame food we want to eat.
I think in recent years there's been a push to make consumable food in games look very appetizing, you eat with your eyes first as some say, just looking at it makes you feel good and immersed.
I think it's fun how even some more abstract or pixelated game foods serve the same sensorial satisfaction to put it some way.
I don't know if realistic is the proper term, sure it LOOKS like it could be real, but the way the artists and programmers controlled how the models look to make them almost impossibly good looking, it's an interesting observation at least to me.
Anyways, here's some personal favorite examples:
Any food choice from Unicorn Overlord
The Monster Hunter World full course
Almost every food from FFXV
And some more cartoony examples:
The Menu from Cuisineer
And the stages from Kirby's Dream Buffet
