I need to read the second but I'm not fan of how it delved from the source material with the mormon camp...I only read the first two books many years ago.

if you are talking about the same ones that i'm thinking of, i didn't read them but i saw linkara's videos on them. they are truly awful, in every sense and meaning of the word.It was a whole series called “Worlds of Power.” That one (and maybe all of them?) is about a kid being teleported into the world of the game. It’s Nintendo Power reader submission tier stuff, but charming for that reason. There’s a Metal Gear one I’d love to find to compare to the writing in MGS4…
Oh, did anybody ever read those godawful Silent Hill comics? I [PURCHASED FROM WALMART] them years ago and don’t remember anything about them except they could’ve been mistaken for a Something Awful shitpost.
i never knew there was a novel, need this right tf now, this series is probably my favorite ps2 games ever (so far)Award winning novelist Miyuki Miabe penned and adaptation of the game ICO.

IMO lots of video game novelization tend towards "schlocky" and "immature"... just plain bad, most of the time.
This is a great exception to that trend.
Focused, thoughtful, atmospheric.
She was evidently given complete creative control while inventing motivations and backstories for characters and events and, IMO, does so brilliantly. She, as the kids say, understood the assignment, and the source material full-well.
Well worth a read.
From Akira Himekawa? They're good. I've also enjoyed Cagiva's ALTTP and LA as well as Ishinomori's ALTTP.anyone ever read the zelda mangas? i used to have the first volume for ocarina of time, still love it to pieces n wish i still had it.
