Did they make this beautiful game using only Genesis raw power not a super fx chip or using supercomputers like they did for donkey long country? if so, wow those graphics really pop out nd colors. Imagine if this game came out when the Genesis was new like in 1989.

the game came out 7 yrs after the system was out but imagine just imagine if this was the launch title:

They used a technique called Vector Piece Animation to make this game, hence they called it Vectorman in the end. Alot of ppl hated 2 though, and thought it was a step down from 1, and it was way more difficult, and not in a good way.

It just couldn't have been a launch title. There used to be a world of difference between early games on a system and those that came at the end, for a variety of reasons. The tech to make Vectorman wasn't ready in 1989. Early SNES games don't look nearly as good as late SNES games either.

Vectorman was a lot of fun. I am a bit more nostalgic for the first one but definitely a nice SEGA exclusive.

Haven't beat either Vectorman 1 or 2, but I still enjoyed them. Definitely some of the best looking Genesis titles.

Both vector man games BOP!
There's a neat patch in the repository that give #1 a save and weapon select. It's neat.

Great game and an absolute classic. I admittedly prefer the first one however.

As a kid i had both 1 and 2 and 1 i could never beat but 2 i could , its much shorter and probably for the better seeing as how 1 just swaps color pallets and enemy placement on alot of levels
