My only issue about "artistic expressions" is that we cannot be sure if they're done by misunderstood geniuses or truly opportunistic talentless hacks that only managed to communicate and sell their "concepts" well...

I think in most cases you can tell if the artist is masquerading, things like replication or buzzwords are usually an indication, think Phyllomedusa.

If AI could be used on top of a real singer I think it would've been less controversial as there's still a human behind the song.

But then again many people did vocaloid (such as Miku) for songs before AI got popular.

Ye hasn’t been good since Life of Pablo and even then it’s not even part of his top albums, that’s not a unpopular take but my next one is.

Kanye definitely shouldn’t get support but neither should any other artist who’s a shit-head.

If you’re going to bash someone for liking Ye’s music you better do the same with someone who likes Daughters, Rick James, Morissey, Crystal Castles, Eric Clapton and etc.

i still love Kanye's music (from 2018 back, that 2018 summer run was legendary). hes morphed into some crazy person but that doesnt erase the art from him that i used to like before he went insane lol

Appreciating someone works is great offering gift for you than an applauding artist value.

artist itself comes from with their preset idea to make it's own theme, metrics and limitiation of what could have made. what they're struggle means to you is nothing more to it systemic loops and hooks. it may or may not come out to your likness at their notable signature despite it's predecessor project had a hit than recent ones or akind of developmental with orignial souding to build-up. like...., if i had an interest on that band is technical/pop/original, i had been fond those as main correpsondences peak of [insert genre]. WILL likely to be ruined by it follow-up of biases with the presention of how original you thought on it. ( cause I hAtE THoSe SoUnD, cause iT;s cOpY, cause shit cause that baises will comply).

On the alternative side, you listen it pieces, An concept ALBUM. Would evaluated what hinder to you within listening experiences that would determine what sounding likeness for you. You only listened it becuase it strike something at it, so that were albums are sounds of story on artisty level at your own self-insert.
A personality choice perhaps a reformation to you for enjoying certain categories. Although not to meant as old is better or smth th, at least keep searching on what are on matters to you. that is roots to your preferences of understanding the music and whole your beings.

Adoring artist isn't a best choice to be meatriding.
come up with the great respect for the artist at their work and stood up be judggey and criticize if you hated so much also it offers outside perspective too.

The songs that I enjoy are made for and appreciated the best when listened within the context of the entire album.
