"The F15C eagle has IFF (Identify Friend Or Foe) so realistically this would never happen and when a missile is fire, depending on the type the pilot would say Fox 3 to Indicates launch of an active radar homing missile (such as the AIM-120 AMRAAM or AIM-54 Phoenix).
And then you would say would all so say Fox 2 to Indicates a launch of an infrared homing missile (such as the AIM-9 Sidewinder). and last but not least a Fox 1 would Indicate a launch of a semi-active radar homing missile (such as the AIM-7 Sparrow). so to sum it all up, The F15c eagle is an American twin-engine, all-weather fighter aircraft designed by McDonnell Douglas (now part of Boeing). Following reviews of proposals, the United States Air Force (USAF) selected McDonnell Douglas's design in 1969 to meet the service's need for a dedicated air superiority fighter. The Eagle took its maiden flight in July 1972, and entered service in 1976.
