Thoughts on the new Gundam game?

I don't know where people are getting at with this being Canon, but its like all other Gundam content released besides Hathaway, its non-canon or a completely separate OC timeline.

Other than that, im hyped for anything new Gundam game related

Website says something along the lines of "A thrilling new chapter in the Gundam Saga" which might be where they're getting confused. Unless someone stated it was part of the central U.C. timeline, the only thing it's canon to is itself (similar to stuff like Gundam Seed or G-Gundam). And outside of 00, Gundams don't usually go around fighting aliens, because what the fuck else is that scorpion thing supposed to be?

I think this look fairly promising. If they're trying to appeal to westerners by making this Armoured Core/Mech Warrior grit it's working. Though, I kinda wished they kept a more predominant Gundam aesthetic, since if you squint your eyes this thing looks like any generic space armour.

I promise you Westerners do not care about Armored Core. Mech Warrior currently is a different game all together compared to its original games. This does look like Armored Core/DaemonXMachina in terms of gameplay.

If Westerners cared, they would have bought DaemonXMachina like me!

If economy (and physical availability) allows it, I will definitely give it a change, unless they somehow screw it up.

But for a first impression? Really good!
