yes but this is on the same console, the PSP, it's not a secondary version for a last gen or something, there are 2 games with the same name on the same console, that's intriguing for me.Sonic unleashed on PS2/Wii and PS360 are essentially two different games.
Ah alright that’s much clearer.yes but this is on the same console, the PSP, it's not a secondary version for a last gen or something, there are 2 games with the same name on the same console, that's intriguing for me.
I'm not sure, I lost some of my archive to check this out so I have to look for the other region's rom and see if the changes are regional. Are you sure one of them isn't the European version? I've searched a couple of rom archives and the only two versions that come up are a US and an EU version. Sometimes updates are added to games after being ported to Europe from the US or vice versa.
me too buddy, POP TSOT is my favorite game of all time, but then again, I don't trust the modern Ubisoft with the IP.Prince of Persia is one of my favorite games. I'm still waiting for the remake of The Sands of Time.
This company is now the beginning of the end.me too buddy, POP TSOT is my favorite game of all time, but then again, I don't trust the modern Ubisoft with the IP.
regional differences and special editions weren't that rare back then actually. games like digimon world 3 had lot more stuff in EU version, and many games had exclusive content in the japanese version, games like DDR had different songlists, etc. not sure what was the deal specifically with this game though.yes but this is on the same console, the PSP, it's not a secondary version for a last gen or something, there are 2 games with the same name on the same console, that's intriguing for me.
thanks friend, I was downloading the US version to check myself. The U.S. version had the extra content you're talking about, which is weird because it released at basically the same time as the European version.
that's super weird, not only that the psp version is a port of the wii version as far as I know and even the wii version lacks these extra levels.basically the same time as the European version
yeah I know about the regional differences, one of the Layton games had a whole side game in one of the versions, I just wasn't sure that this is the case for the POP as well, specially when both versions came out at the same time.regional differences and special editions weren't that rare back then actually. games like digimon world 3 had lot more stuff in EU version, and many games had exclusive content in the japanese version, games like DDR had different songlists, etc. not sure what was the deal specifically with this game though.
yes, FF7 dirge of Cerberus for example but in that case, the EU and US version were ported much later with so many fixes which then got ported back to Japan with the Integral tag line.so many japanese games that got ported to us and eu have something similar going on to this, where some features go missing despite being the same game on the same console

Well Blizzard is a small indie company so no wonder lolol.WarCraft 2 battlenet edition has broken cinematics for orc ending in tides of darkness and human ending in beyond the dark portal (i know blizzard has some sick names) the PS1 version contains the unbroken cinematics while versions found today contain the broken ones also the PS1 version contains some detailed maps that follow your advance through the campagins the map is actually accurate in a human mission where you have to hit an orc fortress the map shows bone chewers village to the north of it in the game the bone chewers are found to the north of the fortress!
Add on it unique cinematics for beyond the dark portal that aren't present in the PC version some modder i know said it's easy to add them into the game i want to add them they are pretty cool even if outdated and quite janky.
So true their employees yearn for the sound of females and for more breast milk to drinkWell Blizzard is a small indie company so no wonder lolol.
who cares if the game is janky. it's a matter of preservation and having access to the game in any way you want imo, go ham friend.i want to add them they are pretty cool even if outdated and quite janky.
Thanks man WarCraft 2 was a pretty significant game for PC looking back at the 90s the RTS war between blizzard and Westwood is kinda what made the PC viable to game on.who cares if the game is janky. it's a matter of preservation and having access to the game in any way you want imo, go ham friend.
I actually worked at Blizzard for 1 year and during my short time I managed to record a video of what actually happens in their office that sums up a day in Blizzard despite it was against the rules to record a video lolol:So true their employees yearn for the sound of females and for more breast milk to drink
There's two different versions of Tetris on the NES. Completely different versions of the game. One is from Tengen and in a black cartridge, the other is from Nintendo and in the standard gray cartridge. Not exactly the same scenario but still interesting.yes but this is on the same console, the PSP, it's not a secondary version for a last gen or something, there are 2 games with the same name on the same console, that's intriguing for me.
Well it's just Ubisoft fucking with the video game industry so hard learning from his granpas!! Now Ubisoft has grown up so much they remove your games from your library to shit on the industry more!!! Ah, video game companies grow up so fast!!! lololI can't think of another example of two different games with the same title releasing on the same system. But something really funny that also happened to Prince of Persia is Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, which is actually three or four different games (depending on who you ask) with the same title on different systems. This was a common practice in the 2000s with licensed games and/or games that came out both for consoles and handhelds.
