TV Shows You’re Currently Watching (NOT ANIME)

I've been watching The Chair Company and it's the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. It's about a guy that works at an architectural company. His chair breaks during a presentation and he becomes obsessed with tracking down the manufacturer to complain. But he just gets the run around from customer service. So he digs into it and discovers this bizarre conspiracy that takes all these weird turns.

I've also been watching Pluribus. An alien virus sort of thing encoded in a radio transmission from space connects everyone together mentally. All people become one. There's no war or violence or hate. But it's just.... really creepy. Everyone is just so nice all the time and refer to themselves as "we". They have everyone's memories and skills so you have little kids driving cars and performing surgery. 12 people are mysteriously immune, including the main character Carol. She's a miserable romance author. She's determined to find a cure and revert everyone back to normal.

Watched the first season of Ted Lasso and found the whole thing painfully boring. How'd this show get so much praise? I feel like a lot of Apple's output is ridiculously overrated.

Now I'm currently watching Fallout season 2, Alien Earth, Peacemaker season 2, Twisted Metal season 2.

Might start Stranger Things final season next week, just getting mentally prep for it after general thought from everyone tends to be is ending fail on level with Game of Thrones
I only watch 1 episode of one show a day, just to stretch it out rather than binge watch shows.

Lately, I've been watching Kitchen Nightmares during breakfast. Even though it's a show about failing restaurants and food, I still enjoy eating breakfast while watching it.

I'm thinking of watching more of Black Mirror, the sci-fi "horror" series. People are recommending it to me due to how close some episodes are to modern day tech issues.

I started watching Ultraman Omega a few weeks ago but have only seen the first episode so far.

Been rewatching episodes of for all mankind easily the best space drama of modern times.

Finished Pluribus season 1 this week.

I'm currently watching 4 shows at the pace of 1 episode per week. (there's some other series but I watch those on random moments ::beer)
Monday - Big Little Lies : It's very irrealistic but realistic at the same time?? ::nuts But, I think it's a pretty good show considering that it's pretty short. I'm at the half of season 2 rn

Wednesday - Skins : I know I'm a bit late, but wow. When watching this for the first time, I didn't expect it to be that good ::eek. The characters really bear emotions. The music and the image are cool too. I'm at the fourth episode of season 2.

Friday - Twin Peaks : I really love David Lynch's work in general, so I knew I would like this series. Of course, I don't understand everything since it's my first time actually watching it, ::rolleyes but the cinematography is ::firgirlsmirk I just watched the first episode of season two, and for now my favorite character is Audrey because this diva slays 🫦💅👑

Saturday - When life gives you tangerine : I started watching it with my mom because my sister told us that it was great and that she dropped a tear ::lol So, we watched the first episode and it seemed interessting. ::agree It's also the first time that I watch a korean show. The only thing I didn't like was the excessive crying and the fact that the girl looks like a kpop singer when she grew up and didn't even ressembled the first actress. ::dodgy

I plan on watching Sharp Objects and Shameless after I finish Big Little Lies. If you have any recommendations, feel free to tell ::coffee

Finally gotten into Firefly and am really enjoying it so far

Am also enjoying The Man Show. Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla are really funny. Not all jokes land (of course there is no comedy variety show where all jokes land), but the ones that do really get a belly laugh out of me. Currently at Season 2, sadly the MCee from Season 1, The Fox, died after that season, so it is mostly the juggy girls that do the introduction. Still, I really love the energy of the entire show, and it has this "all in good fun" vibes to it as the show feels like a fun weekend party.

Going to turn my brain off for Fallout.

Making my way through a series I'd somehow never seen called Merlin from 2008. It's pretty good, pacing is a bit strange but that may just be because it's from a country that isn't my own. CGI is godawful, but that is expected.

And also re-watching my beloved Psych from 2006. I could rant and rave about my love for this series, but I won't. It has its flaws though, plots for episodes definitely get repetitive as the seasons go on. Still hilarious though.

Decided to check out Shrinking on Apple TV and this is another boring, overrated Apple series.

i've been rewatching 2 of my absolute favourite cartoon series (2018 She-Ra and Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) as they're both being taken off of Netflix this year 😭

other than that, i've also been watching This is Us (2016). I'm liking it a lot! It's a little over-the-top at times, but I'm really enjoying it.

rewatching when i get a chance :

american gothic

nowhere man

dark skies

x files

millennium

outer limits (1990's)

married with children

Stargate SG-1, currently in the 7th season. I binged the entire series years ago and really missed watching it, so it's been on the TV every chance I get.

I'm almost finished with the first season. I've seen quite a few episodes over the years though for some reason or other I never watched it in order.

Pluribus was GREAT. I am hating how long I'll have to wait before I find out what my boy Maneusos does to save the world.

After I'm done with Stargate I think a rewatch of Gotham is in order!

Starting Landman Season 2. Definitely a slow burn compared to season 1.

Currently slugging through Monarch Season 2. Want more Kaiiju action, too much blah blah blah my relation feelings and shit. Fix that and the pacing and show would be kino.

I'm still on Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel. I don't wanna finish it yet, though. But some friends are harassing me to watch Helluva Boss, I might start that Eventually.

I've just started The X-Files for the first time ever (which I'm loving, almost finished the first season) and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

I'd also like to watch After Life and Xena, if I can find the time.

Watching first episode of Man in a Suitcase
Man in a Suitcase (TV Series 1967–1968) - IMDb

a YouTube series called "Shiftless". It's a cross between Regular Show and Clerks. Episode 4 released the other day. It's about 2 dudes trying to find work and make a living and all the crap that happens to them along the way. It's like early YouTube. I freaking love it.

There's another weird one called "For Alien Eyes Only" which is a collection of VHS tapes for aliens to watch when visiting Earth but it gets everything wrong. lol Also it's all done with puppets.

There's the indie animated series called "Monkey Wrench" which is like a lot of scifi anime from the 90s mixed with 90s cartoons.

"A Fox in Space" which is like an Adult Swim take on StarFox.
