TV Shows You’re Currently Watching (NOT ANIME)

I just finished The 8 Show. I finished Squid game, which impressed me. The 8 Show is more like a black comedy. It's got loads of violence. But one of the rules is that the game will automatically end if someone dies. It's based on the Korean webtoons Money Game and Pie Game, which I am reading. All of these kind of remind me of The Running Man. There's gonna be a remake of that movie. I hope it matches the novella better. It looks like it will.

I don't know if they will keep the whole plot. It's a dystopia where the poor compete in dangerous reality games to obtain necessities. I remember a passage where terminally ill people had to run on a treadmill to compete for organ donations. If everyone drops dead before you then you win. MC has a very sick daughter he can't afford to treat. So he competes in The Running Man in order to win the money to save her. The thing is, I don't know if the filmmakers will have the balls to do the novella justice. I'll be very disappointed if they change the ending.

Twisted Metal Season 2 is so good I can forgive the writer for shuffling all the game references.
Hopefully Fallout Season 2 could manage to reach the similiar expectations if not better.

I'm currently watching Beverly Hills, 90210. Man, it's so cheesy

I loved it though. I felt so grown up watching 90210 as a kid. I like the episode where Steve does an infomercial.

Been watching Babylon 5 on Tubi. Remember watching this show years ago COMPLETELY LEGALLY and falling in love with it. And yeah, you can kind of notice a lot of the inspiration paramount took in the creation of DS9 from j michael straczynski's original pitch Bible

Started watching Kage No Gundan/Shadow Warriors on Tubi (Sonny Chiba's likeness in the show was famously used for the opening of Revenge Of Shinobi). Really solid and grim period drama that isn't without a sense of humor

Been watching a ton of "The Adventures Of Pete & Pete" lately. Wasn't a show that I particularly cared for as a child (actually found it kind of boring, same with King Of The Hill, which I also now love/adore), but it was very important to me that I watch the season 3 episode "Splashdown" every summer. Just got done with "New Year's Pete" and it might be one of the best kid's shows episodes I've seen

the opening never gets old.

Lately im watching on Youtube this bri'ish TV-show called Knightmare that aired in the early 90s .

Man .... i feel nostalgic to a show that never aired in germany and i never watched back then . And its awesome .
I saw an Amiga game of it , watched some gameplay and one comment stated that it was from a TV-show in the UK which i must check out .

Thats some underrated awesomeness from the best i never knew it would entertain me so much .

I only watch anime now. Modern tv shows ia just endless slopp.

I miss the good old days of Xena,hercules, Lexx,babylon 5, star trek before it became star sucks ass. murder in midsummer the old ones.

It so damn depressing one can not enjoy movies and tv show anymore. Becuse west lost all its braincells.
