Do you think if Andy was held at gunpoint from a burglar breaking into his home, would the toys come to life and save Andy? Also why haven't they been known yet by anyone besides Sid.

Probably at such a time, they would fight against the toys of the burglar!

Also, the reason that they haven't been discovered for example by security cameras is that the cameras also are considered techy toys and are alive! and as a result, they all help in keeping the secret!
