what happened to them? i had fun logging out and refreshing the login page to see what random image i got. now it's just forcing me to log in.

why was this removed? i thought it was a fun feature.

Oh I see, it used to be the Repo had wacky ass pictures if you weren't signed in, now it looks like "https://retrogametalk.com/repository/" is hidden from non-members. Probably for the best.
