there was an announcement from someone a few years ago. its been radio silence since then but tbf it is a massive game. i mean, maybe they're still working on it

probably not. it's about 5 discs long. punchy talked about it in his video on the 3rd game in the series. it has a lot of content in it. maybe one day someone or a team of people will try to translate it, but as far as i know, no one has started on it yet.

Tom was translating it with I think the person that did 1 SNES but technical issues on his end put it on hold while he focuses on Persona 1 PS1.

I can only imagine a game of this size taking at the very least ten years... Not only the amount of text is massive, but from what i've read over the years(lurking several romhacking forums) is a massive pain in the romhacking part of the job...
