Looks super-immersive. Like they've found the right blend of cinematic and sandbox.

I missed out on Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2, but the first Insomniac Spidey was great, and I think this will be too.

They've got the level of bloodshed just right. Because I'm a sick freak, I'd like it if the wounds that Logan inflicts were more fleshy and obvious, but I can understand why they avoided that.
The blood spray effects still look fantastic, especially in how it coats your suit.

Whaddya think, bub?

I hope they manage to get the blend of side quests just right - I'd be happy with one or two less "busy work" cheevos present in the first Spidey, in favour of a tighter more focussed experience. And I hope they still manage to capture some comedy in the form of the radio conversations and incidental moments.

While I'm not particularly interested in it, I'm glad such a legendary dev can still throw curve balls like that.

I have been a fan of Insomniac's for years.

I'm loving everything I'm seeing so far. I can't wait!

I through it looked kind of generic, It is Insomniac though, so it will be certainly at least competent, the art direction seems a little boring too. Hope they lose the dirty grey filter. Not that my opinion matter TBH, i don't have the money to buy it.

I'm not sold. The gore is safe edgy, the blood comes out of enemies in buckets but it has no meaning since you're not dismembering these enemies. Which makes it all the more noticeable that there's a toggle to just turn off the blood.

Also I don't care for this Wolverine's roars. Liam McIntyre roars like he's self conscious of roaring like a madman. I'm definitely not impressed when there are many good examples of Wolverine roars/howls. Steve Blum, Hugh Jackman, and Scott McNeil to name a few.

It's a real nitpick, I get the healing factor but the suit repairing itself and the blood disappearing of it takes me out of it a bit. but overall greatness.

You clearly looking at different trailer then. Because Wolverine was definitely tearing legs and arms off. Being able to turn off gore is beside the point. The gore isn't "safe edgy". You might as well go TLOUS2 for the gore you think you want. Or MadWorld. Though at least MadWorld is fun, and not having its head up its own ass about "revenge". It's ironic that even games like MadWorld, Killer7, and even Manhunt have more humanity than TLOUS 2.

I was stoned while I was watching State of Play and this looked AI generated to me. Also when did games have to get so brutal? I understand if that's his thing but in Postal 2 at least when you go berserk you understand that you're playing as a homicidal maniac.

Gameplay looked cool but I just wonder, how much of the game will be spent doing that and not some interactive cinematic bs like many other Playstation titles. Also after seeing what Spider Man 2 was and this game having Debra Wilson in it makes it a really though sell for me.

It looks good but some parts of Wolverine's and the enemies animations look weird, specially the parts where Wolverine is doing the normal attack combos, his and the enemies animations don't look "fluid" or smooth enough.

No, he's right, there's no dismemberment in gameplay. The only instance of any dismemberment is in a cutscene, where Wolverine slashes off a prostectic. Seems like there is no dismemberment in gameplay.

But there's visible cloth shreding, environmental kills and tons of blood popping out.

Overall like @Jimbo_McDumbo said before, Wolverine looks safe edgy.

Look for yourself,

I saw the trailer again last night. True (not about the "safe edgy"), but I am still interested. I want to play it. End of story.

Looks fun and gory but graphically underwhelming from the studio behind R&C: Rift Apart which still looks incredible on PS5.

After watching the trailer a couple more times I noticed there is no dismemberment, so this game is officially inferior to the Xmen Origins Wolverine game and also inferior to the Ninja Gaiden games.

Sad, I was looking forward to it.
