'Woke' is a little different. I don't know if you remember but during the early 2010's, 'woke' was actually used as a self descriptor to suggest that one's view of the world was especially enlightened in regards to left-leaning social justice issues (#staywoke was a popular trend around this time). It only became a negative term when people realised how naive & frankly insane a lot of self-described 'woke' people's views were. I would say, thinking out loud here, the term 'based' is more akin to what 'woke' was.

I just mean in the sense that its lost all meaning but you are right.

Considering the huge amount of hideous AI generated crap I keep getting in sponsored posts on Instagram: it's never enough to keep calling it "slop".
