They even had really good morals. As a massive fan of the series that's been through it all, getting an entire console just for it ain't worth it chief. The distribution of games in my country is fucked, so I'm still waiting to get a physical copy of the game because if I did, I wouldn't be writing this post lol.
And taking this opportunity, I like these two games, not more than the first one but they have their reasons to exist. If you don't mind, I'd like to get poetic about it:
XBC 1: A game about a protagonist that can see into the future, teaching us that nothing is set in stone and we can change the future.
XBC 2: A game about many characters plagued by their past mistakes, and about a living blades that are immortal and will live forever with said mistakes, teaching us that we should forgive and forget and that our pasts don't define us.
XBC 3: C'est la vie... Life is fleeting and we should enjoy all the small moments in our lives, a game where our heroes are on borrowed time but even with such a small time frame to act, they change the entire course of their world and we should tell the people that we love, significant others or family, how we truly feel about one another, because we never know what fate has in store for us...
Wow, that was dramatic... Hope I made some sense as to why I love the entire series lol.
Yeah, you concised what I said with better words, nice! They even had really good morals.
XB1: No matter what the future holds, we have to choose the right path to make our future brighter.
XB2: Learn from your mistakes, forget about the past and move forward.
XB3: What matters in life depends on how you use it.
Sadly I had to drop the game and play more MonHun Wilds instead, oh well..
Maybe you should get a job.
Get a Switch 2 and buy the whole saga for the rawest boxart synergy of all timeI was spammed in my scroll by pages and groups with the Xenoblade in videos, memes and articles.
I was like wow this is peak hype, especially for me a mecha fan. About 7 years back more or less i bought a used PS3 console just to play some exclusives games i found by pure luck, i don't think is possible for decent emulation for Switch games and i need some recommendations from Switch owners which is the best console version?
Thank you.
Never said that I disliked them, all of them are amazing in their own way, it's just that I have a lot of emotional atachment to the first one.
You hate 2 for the writing, storytelling, and characters2 and 3 are not real games, they are genuinely abysmal in storytelling, writing and characters.
The issue with the story of xeno2 is that more than half of the game is hurr hurr animoo antics ,Rex in Mythra's boobs and close ups to pyra's and any female character's boobsYou hate 2 for the writing, storytelling, and characters
I hate Xenoblade 2 because of the overcomplicated gameplay that pads itself out with a million fetch quests and field skills. We are not the same.

The map is godawful with said fetch quests too but we knew that. Not to mention the gacha is random and you can't even swap blades to another character until halfway through New Game + who designed this shit?
Story's amazing though, one of the only things I enjoyed about the game. Not many games about tragic loss and grief, disillusionment, and redemption in the same game. Genuinely hate how people boil the story down to "hurr hurr animoo antics! Rex in Mythra's boobs!" instead of everything else. This is why I'll still recommend the game despite my beef with it.
No I know what the game is about, it's just that in my opinion it's executed pretty poorly. But again... MY OPINION GUYS! WE CAN HAVE OPINIONS AND VARYING STANDARDS AND THOUGHTS ON THE INTERNET RIGHT?!You hate 2 for the writing, storytelling, and characters

I've been on the internet long enough to tell you you might wanna take the /j out of this one to be honest...No. /j
Xenoblade 2 with good morals.... OYG.They even had really good morals.

That happened to me with xenoblade 1 , I bought the game for the wiiu and a week later they announced the remaster .What really sucks is that I sold my Switch and then a few weeks later they announced Xenoblade Chronicles X, a game I gave up on on ever coming to the Switch. So I'm in the boat do I wait for a Switch 2, buy a Switch, or the emulation route. Right now leaning towards the wait for Switch 2 even though I love the Xenoblade series. Well, never finished 2 but got close to the end. If I were to rank the games it would be 3 > 1 > 2. Main reason I'm not considering X through emulation would be me wanting the full online support from the start and not knowing if uhhhh.... Not even sure what the current Switch emulators that are still being supported are with Nintendo taking down Yuzu and getting the guy behind Ryujinx to leave the scene. So guess eventually I will get a Switch 2 which might not be until sometime next year depending on how scalpers go with the launch
Kinda disagree on the "perfect" myself cause I have my fair share of issues with 1's story.Xenoblade 1 is the only perfect game in the series. (The Wii/3DS versions have some flaws, but the Switch version fixes all of them.) Not going to dispute anything about it. XCX has half-assed writing and bad humor, but good gameplay. Never finished XC3 because the menu system is just trash and too vital to the gameplay to ignore.
Unfortunately, I bought a Vita just to play Persona 4 Golden.I wouldn't invest money on a console for a single game, I would rather emulate it, if possible.
Eh, the "women in fridges" trope is such an overdone and sexist thing that it's a breath of fresh air to see it subverted to the game's advantage instead of played straight. The writers made the right call to not go the traditional route on that one.Kinda disagree on the "perfect" myself cause I have my fair share of issues with 1's story.
And most of them are related to Fiora coming back to life.
You should try Gravity Rush on the Vita if you haven't already, it's awesome!Unfortunately, I bought a Vita just to play Persona 4 Golden.
Fortunately, I eventually used my Vita to emulate some sweet PSP/Vita games
