For me it's whenever I see/read someone talking about something from 2010 or later as having been 'part of their childhood'.

Just put me in a home ngl, my bones are fucked completely now because I'm old.

Waking up remembering my best friend Is no longer around.
Seeing the Icon of an old MMORPG I used to enjoy In the past on my desktop I refuse to delete.
Acid reflux every night reminding me of my declining mortality.
Seeing a vid on something I missed out on.
Hearing/seeing a term/concept I don't understand that feels like It just got Invented 30 minutes ago.

People not knowing about older, physical media. You know, tales of people not knowing what cassettes or even fucking CDs ARE? Oh my lord. Or of course, the classic "Hey, he 3D printed the save icon!" when a kid saw a floppy disk, lol.

Also, just hearing someone's birth year. After having nieces and nephews and just having met more people, it doesn't really bother me as much as it used to when I was a teenager (which is funny to me now). But I remember hearing people born just a few years after me and being like "that shouldn't be allowed." It still is kind of weird for me to think about how kids born in 2020 weren't really conscious during the pandemic, and are now 6 years old. Like no, 2020 just happened. 2015 was 5 years ago... what do you mean that we're closer to 2030 than 2020? Ew! Happens to me every decade.

Basically any reminder that COVID was like over 5 years ago at this point.
That was my 2nd last year of high school but it feels like it was fuckin' yesterday.

Thinking back on events and realizing the number of years it's been since then is greater than the number of years old I was when it happened.

Sort of similar to this, I was terrifying myself earlier (and shall now terrify anyone reading this thread) when I was thinking about that we are now further away from the GTA Vice City release date than GTA Vice City's release was from the 80s, the time period it was portraying.

It's a rare occurence, and it doesnt really make me cry per se but it makes me tear up pretty consistently.
A supporting character being killed or otherwise dying and the other people think they either just died normally or just disappeared somewhere.
