But yes, an AI could absolutely become an Uber driver, granted it needs a bit more time in development. An AI would have connections to GPS, along with Google Maps, front-facing, and rear-facing cameras.

So, your argument is, in fact, invalid. As technology progresses, AI will indeed be able to replace most people for 99% of tasks. Maybe not in the next five years, but you do realize that on December 17, 1903, the Wright Brothers first flew. The New York Times had said a week earlier that "it would take humanity anywhere from one million to ten million years to invent a successful flying machine." And in just 123 years, humanity has progressed from that little flying machine to SpaceX.

So no, your argument that AI will never do this is, in fact, invalid.
Never underestimate humanity's push forward in technology, that will, in fact, eventually replace them.

What CAN it replace? What I've seen of A.I. so far isn't impressive. A.I. searches are inaccurate and stupid. Plus, given the sorry state our current technology is still in with things erroring out, glitching, crashing, having bugs, etc. on a regular basis, I sure as hell am not ready for robots and A.I. to take over everything. They are not even close to Skynet level intelligence.

Anything for an given amount of time without completely shitting the bed. Sure you might get lucky with some basic questions and what not, but you aren't going to really learn anything from it or get it to do anything really profound. AI in its current state is nothing more than an expensive search engine that routinely gets facts mixed up and hallucinates, which quite frankly makes it almost useless outside of those basic questions I mentioned before
