I think the soundtrack of The Note game for ps1 is really amazing for how out of place it is. It is supposed to be a horror game, this groove seems to me more suitable for a pinball, it completely kills the atmosphere. Imagine in Silent Hill, if they had commissioned the soundtrack I don't know, to Earth, Wind and Fire....

People don't necessarily HATE things they think are technically "bad", you know? And feeling angry when somebody points their dislikes to something we love just show our insecurity, infantile behavior. It's all about how we communicate with each other. :p

I'll mention music from Guilty Gear Petit 2 here. Their composition is actually amazing, but the chipset sounds so bad, i don't know.... probably it wasn't annoying in a small handheld, low volume.... but i was playing this on a TV and after 10 minutes every song started to sound like a torture lol

it might sound a little better coming from the less harsh speakers in the WonderSwan. But on modern speakers with headphones its ear piercing

This song from Cinderella should have NEVER been mixed as FIELD SOUNDTRACK for the entire WORLD!
If you first hear it you probably think "Hey this doesn't sound so bad" but then... you listening to it on repeat, over and over again
It's too short and repeatable and drives me absolutely INSANE!

I feel the KH Union Cross DEVs realized how bad the song is, because Cinderella's world in that game uses a completely different Field Theme
