The video game music that dug into your brain and stayed there for a looong time?
For me, more than 20 years ago, it was this

Then nothing (for 20 years) but when I finally played the 3rd chapter some time ago... BAM! There it is again, settling in my head and never going away 😅
(Do you know what game is... right?)

So, what's the music that had the same effect on you?

For me, pretty much every song on the Sonic Adventure 2 and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike soundtracks are still occupying space in my brain, but the biggest one has still gotta be this:

I remember when Black/White first released and me and my brother were lucky to get them on release day. We played them so much we could actually hear music and sound effects from the games play in our head even after we'd put our DS's down. It's something we still joke about sometimes to this day.

Of all the hundreds of examples, this one springs to mind

The Super Mario Bros theme as well as Mega Man 2, Metroid, Metroid Zero Mission, Dead Cells, Minecraft and Retro City Rampage. Those stay with me.

The whole shadowrun soundtrack stucks in my brain from the moment i first played it .
Peak 16-bit soundtrack goodness that underlines everything perfect what i do in my life.

Hello fellow Shenmue gamer.

One time during a vacation I played so much Gameboy that the music played nonstop in my head exactly like it sounded in the game and nonstop. It was actually kinda scary.

Just...anything from Hiroki Kikuta, really.

Slight tonal shift: Anything from the the PS2/DS soundtrack of Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side lol.
These songs loop in my head daily...Probably because I also use them and the Persona 3 Portable songs in my alarm clock app ::linkmouthcover

I like Guerilla War so much Im making a game similar to it. One of those games I played a ton of. I had no idea what the story was about as a kid :ROFLMAO:
I always knew, but what I did not know was that it was really called Guevara in Japan!

I'd love to see the project when you finish, let me know if there's anything I can do to help! ::thumbsupwario
