I heard this on some random YouTube video like a week ago and it hasn't left my head since. I hadn't heard it since it was released so it was a pretty big blast of nostalgia. It almost makes me feel kinda bad for stopping at KH2, but eh.
The video game music that dug into your brain and stayed there for a looong time?
For me, more than 20 years ago, it was this
Then nothing (for 20 years) but when I finally played the 3rd chapter some time ago... BAM! There it is again, settling in my head and never going away
(Do you know what game is... right?)
So, what's the music that had the same effect on you?
For me, pretty much every song on the Sonic Adventure 2 and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike soundtracks are still occupying space in my brain, but the biggest one has still gotta be this:
I remember when Black/White first released and me and my brother were lucky to get them on release day. We played them so much we could actually hear music and sound effects from the games play in our head even after we'd put our DS's down. It's something we still joke about sometimes to this day.
