Such a good topic! I've been interested in improving my lang skills for both Spanish and English and wishing to get serious into learning Korean and Japanese. My priorities, alongside several other hobbies requiring me to dive in some sort of very niche or highly dispersed knowledge. Watching the thread, it sure is going to help me to stay motivated!

Well as a matter of fact i've been studying on several Swarm optimization algorithm, in which i might use for my final assignment.

But the thing is i have been procastinated sooo much that i barely make any progress in my research lol, (heck i haven't even get enough data).

I'm studying stock options. I won't be able to afford them for at least another 6~12 months, but I'm motivated to study it now, so better to harness that drive and refresh myself later, rather than push myself to learn it from scratch in the future when my attention might be pulled elsewhere.
