Stuntman, Ace Combat, lots of stuff that was already have been shown like Tomb Raider and Onimusha. The only "real" reveal that wasn't stuntman was Until Dawn 2 and Kemuri. Kemuri being made by the girl who also helped make Ghostwire tokyo.

also OP - slop is a term for AI, you just didn't see anything that appealed to you. it happens, sometimes nintendo directs are a lotta farming/crafting games and i just want an update on the next rhythm heaven game

Like Hellblade 2, it was mostly all walking and cutscenes with very little combat in over 20 minutes of "gameplay," and the story stuff that was shown wasn't good enough to justify that. In fact, I found the dialogue to be downright bad.

They should've just called it Goddess of War and made it its own thing. Hijacking Kratos tells me that even they don't have faith in the project and rely on brand recognition as a crutch. Not a good sign.

This last one was a State of Okay. It had some cool stuff (Phantom Blade 0, Onimusha, Control, ILL, Wolverine, ...) but nothing that made me excited. The most interested I got was with ILL.

Overall I felt it was mid.

Now, even tho I love gaming as much as ever
I have zero interest in these events, streams, awards, they frustrate me, I hate how corporate, distilled everything sounds, I hate the language both body language and spoken language they use. I legitimately hate the entire thing.

After an even is over I check out whatever trailers interest me and that's that.

I've tuned out of these things completely, modern gaming barely interests me even if at all that they do decide to necro a franchise I really care about, chances are it'll come with the feeling of it treading on something I loved about it, or ripping up every part of the soul or things I loved about the series. Pikmin 4 comes to mind with that with back when I watched these things. That one really put a shock to my system with the announcement and was so overjoyed with it.

But as I said in the earlier parts of that paragraph, you can probably guess how my brain decided to stomach whatever happened to that game

I play both modern and retro, I just legit don't care about the corporate side of things.
I find gaming much more enjoyable when I tune out of all the noise, tho I never let it affect me in what I enjoy, just all the corporate nonsense makes me sick.

Like this? I can enjoy everything or hate everything without feeling like my intelligence is being insulted at every turn with overly exaggerated facial expressions, tonal shifts and gesturing.

When I was 9 I'd walk into a gaming store, browse their catalog, decide what game I wanted based on the screenshots there, test it out at the store and go home or I'd come already knowing what I wanted if I played it at the arcade, a friend's or something.
We did have video game commercials on TV on Satellite TV sure, but they didn't affect me much,.

With that said I still watch gameplay videos, I check out reviews and previws of games that interest me and trailers, but just to kind of see the game in motion and decide if it's worth trying out.

Gaming is so much more enjoyable like this

Back in the day I'd read magazines, tons of them and even tho those were corporate stuff too, they genuinely felt more sincere, now I watch reviews only from some less popular youtubers and ignore IGNs and stuff
