Terminei recentemente Revenge of the Flying Dutchman (PS2) e, na verdade, não odiei como a maioria das pessoas.View attachment 179540View attachment 179537View attachment 179538

Not a Screenshot per se but over the past few days ive been playing around with USF4 (it was on sale) and i was demonstrating to a friend how to do standing 720s by buffering the input during attacks

Taking advantage of having a few days off, I 100% completed Super Adventure Island II (this game made me hate casinos ::angrygenjin), and I just finished Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land for the second time in my life.

I’ve also been playing Super Mario Bros. 3, especifically the Game Boy Advance version because of its save feature. I hope to finish it in the next few days.

This mod is so well done it could easily pass as an actual screenshot from back when the game was new.

Cool background image, which emulator allows that?

And hope you'll enjoy Meta Knightmare.

I use RetroArch, which lets you apply overlays—either community-made or the default ones included with the emulator. In the Kirby screenshot, I’m using an overlay pack I found online that replicates the Game Boy Player borders.

Thank you! I hope more emulators would allow that.

Started up a playthrough of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. I haven't played this game since it came out about 8 years ago.

Snuggled up in chainmail, he looks like he wouldn't hurt a fly, but don't be fooled - he makes a living by pillaging villages.

For a time that is. Him and his party of undertrained rhodoks got obliterated the one time they had to fight an actual army (of one of the lords whose villages they raided)instead of defenceless villagers.

Ahh, Mount & Blade. Haven't played it in a while.

Darkwing Duck (NES, Retroarch-Nestopia core)

This is a really fun licensed platformer. I'm actually surprised it isn't just a cheap knockoff with a nice cover. The controls are precise, the graphics are nice, and there's a variety of enemies. But I'm all smart now. When I first played it about 30 years ago, it was just “that cool game with the Darkwing Duck.”

That's a shame.
Is jusant any good?
Aside from Remember Me, Vampyr, LiS, & the Captain Spirit Demo; the other DN seem pretty dull.
I liked Jusant. Definitely one of the better climbing games out there, and it has a good artstyle, too. I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it since it's pretty short and does get repetitive. I'm just surprised that the same developer made another game in the same vein and they've regressed so much.

I'd put Banishers in with Remember Me, Vampyr and LiS. Those are their best games, IMO. I downloaded Captain Spirit years ago since it was free but never got around to playing it.

Schism
PC
This game rules, it's basically what would happen if you merged Binding of Isaac with Ikaruga, then filled it up with mid-2000s indie freeware slime. Once you begin to understand the UI on the right it feels like your brain is being unwrapped and chewed. You have to manage player XP, religion XP, magic, cards, drugs, guns, color swapping, stat allocation, criminal record. It's a dense brick of gameplay systems and I love it.
