PS4 The PS4 is already getting outdated, are you going to switch to a PS5 or are we going to wait for the price to go down?

No, the PS4 is probably gonna be the last Sony console I buy, I have seen not one single game that has come out for the PS5 that would warrant me making that purchase outside of Astro Bot. Getting an entire console for one game is ludicrous and anything else outside of Astro Bot can be bought off of Steam.

Marvel Rivals is coming to PS4. I would say the PS4 still has some gas in it's tank.

I may be in the minority here, but I'm actually very happy with my PS5 purchase. I got a PS4 near launch and ran that thing into the ground. Eventually the disc drive died, and newer games got reeeeeaaalll slow. It was time. I've found the PS5 to be a more powerful version of what I loved about it.

It has PT on it, though, so I do still have it in my closet.

I honestly wish someone would just go all in on a consumer friendly VR console as it's the only frontier left in gaming. Nobody really cares about prettier graphics and framerate anymore except uber nerds. VR gives you a whole new way to play and experience games.

Landed the ps5 in 2021 when they were still in a shortage. I was lucky enough to get a car accident settlement and paid an ebayer his £650 asking price 2 days before my birthday. in stores the ps5 was priced at £800 used it was ridiculous my PS5 was in its box and still runs epically to this day only problem ive had is 2 controllers have buttons that dont work know a guy in my city who can repair but i just got myself a new 1 recently.

I managed to get a PS5 directly from a Sony back in 2023 and I've never had any issues with it. I prefer it to my PS4, aside from the short controller battery life.

I got a PS5 a couple months back (my friend bought me one which I dearly appreciate) but to be completely honest, most of my use of it tends to just be to play the games I got previously on PS4. The only unique way I really use it is to play some of the newer multiplayer shooters my friends might want me to hop on if we're all playing together. The library just doesn't feel stacked enough to make me feel like getting one would have been warranted if one wasn't purchased and given to me, although that may just be due to my taste in games not lining up very much with what has been offered, the PS4 had a lot to cater to what I'm into.
