Hey everyone! Anonymous Shack here.

I’m a huge retro gaming fan who is finally taking the plunge into game development. I’m using the Godot engine to build a 2D top-down action RPG called "The Prophecy - The Legend Of Kynortas."
The game is heavily inspired by the classics we all love—specifically old-school Zelda, Pokémon, and the Legacy of Goku series.
While I have a background in coding, I am completely new to game design, art, and music. It’s a massive learning curve, but I'm ready to conquer it! To document the highs and lows of this journey, I’ve started a DevLog.
Since this community knows and loves the retro RPG genre inside and out, I would love to get your feedback. Check out my videos, hit me with your honest thoughts (good or bad!), and help me shape this into an experience retro fans will truly enjoy.
