This might not be the best game ever made, but it still saddens me that it's stuck on the Wii. It's an enjoyable experience.

I actually played this game myself recently, and it was very nice. I enjoyed it a lot and want to play other mistwalker games like lost odyssey and fantasian neo dimension because of it.

the final boss being one of your party members was a neat twist

and zael and calista's wedding was one of the most beautiful moments in a game ive played both visually and emotionally

Toberu Mono... quite frankly is the most beautiful song on any game on the Wii... just melodic perfection... yes I am even comparing it to my beloved Xenoblade theme... I took this home back in the day after backing OP Rainfail and although its a bit rough in spots the game is amazing... but that music steals the show for me. This game in my humble yet rather jrpg biased opinion... deserves a re-master more than anything else on the Wii...
I still hear the song in my head every now and then 15 years last, it is beautiful.

Ah, I remember the old days before USD Loader when people would trim duel layer games to fit in a DVD, similar to what they did on Dreamcast, for example Smash Bros Brawl was stripped from the cutscenes, Metroid Prime Trilogy was stripped from MP3, but this game being one of those rare duel layers made it difficult to do so, and I remember thinking this game scrubbed only about 300 mb above a dvd was it really necessary? They could have removed the audio from some in game dialogue, or heck, remove the last couple of chapters entirely, I remember the game's ending was like Chapter 18 but then the game drags for like chapter 24 and it's just fillers, only for the last cutscene be you reminiscing on the events of Chapter 18 and how it ended.

We're lucky that the Redump romset for Wii and Gamecube has perfect dumps in .rvz format, but for the sake of compatibility to people who get their games here to play on real hardware, I convert them back to ISO.

I don't enjoy it though lol

(and no, guys, .rvz files aren't trimmed or have cut content. They're just very well compressed in a format that Dolphin runs)

...uploading files over 4GB...
Ah, I remember the old days before USB Loader when people would trim duel layer games to fit in a DVD, similar to what they did on Dreamcast, for example Smash Bros Brawl was stripped from the cutscenes, Metroid Prime Trilogy was stripped from Prime 3, and Other M was split in half accross two discs, it helps that it's a linear game.

However, this game being one of those rare duel layers made it difficult to do so, of course it released late enough that most people already switched to USB Loader by then so it didn't matter, I remember thinking this game scrubbed only about 300 mb above a dvd was it really necessary? UNDUB added. I hope you guys enjoy it. As always, please report any errors, because my ISP has been screwing with me recently, and uploading files over 4GB while I’m working on the PC has been quite a ride lol

is this undub or we can choose the dub?

Far from perfect but this is such a beautiful game. Great visuals, great soundtrack, great voice acting and one of the nicest love stories in any videogame ever. A true classic.

Took down the European version for a while to make some tests with the regular ISO and the UNDUB.

If you guys have any issues regarding these bigger downloads, feel free to report them to the curator who uploaded them.

Flawed but good game. Would have been amazing to get successors refining the style. The combat in particular has way more potential for greatness than Xenoblade's MMORPG-esque stuff. Fun localization with the British cast too, good stuff. The only real issues are somewhat stiff controls you can get used to and it feels very linear in progression (even with most JRPGs being very linear anyway, but often with the overworld and large areas etc. this lacks as it had no AAA budget).

Nope, European dub came a year prior and it's the version I played, it uses British dub which imo fits the setting better than the American English dub, that's why I kept the PAL version on my NTSC Wii.
So I'm looking online, it seems I was wrong, for decades I thought the US version redubbed the game, I swear I remember hearing the US version using American redub and not liking it but looking online it appears to be British on both, is it another Mandela effect?

I haven't played a whole lot of this game. But, from what I have played, I could recommend it!👍

And the last, but not least, entry of Operation Rainfall is here

I gotta figure out how to get this to emulate properly. I tried playing the undub awhile back, but it kept displaying things wrong, and I remember fixing something, but then making something else worse too, or having alternative problems. At the time I didn't feel like going through trial and error or researching online, so I just put it off for another time.

Like The Bouncer on PS2 and Resonance of Fate on PS3/360/PS4/XB1: one of the rare times an English dub is superior to the Japanese dub imo

Great game. Underrated. Actually enjoyed it more than Xenoblade. had music by famed Final Fantasy composer. Also had an online arena mode back in the day. Remember playing this online as well as Sword of Reginleiv by Sandlot on the WIi as well.

Who told you there were two dubs?
The European Dub was used for the US release
