PS1 The impossible PS1 top ten best of games list

So much beautiful games in that machine, doing a list of ten leave out a ton of titles on same league.
An interesting example could be the two top ten list on Metacritic, rated by site and by players :

which of the two do include most or your fave ones?

I know it's not the best game, but I'm saddened by the lack of Ape Escape

Players list I’d agree with more out of the two, but both lists are missing a lot of bangers. I obviously never expected to see more obscure stuff like Internal Section or Tall Twins Tower, but how is stuff like Ape Escape or Ridge Racer Type 4 not on either list?

Yeah the Player list is slightly more accurate. I swear to god Chrono Cross is an average game at best but everybody praises it to high heavens!
Street Fighter Alpha 3 seems oddly high too, even it was the sequel to the most popular fighting game of all time.
Don't know what I'd switch out for Ape Escape/Spyro though!

WTF???!! Where is Parasite Eve? That is one of the best games ever for the ps1. Even more superior than some ps2 games. Heck, they even quasi used PE1 battle system for FF7 remake/rebirth.

Just plain wrong.

So many amazing ps1 games am convinced I could never make a top 10 list that wouldn't change with time, that being said MGS would probably always be in my top 3
