The Great Coffee or Tea debate!

Hello chat, I'm a Store manager of a coffee shop. We often get mostly customers that want coffee, but we also offer a variety of hot tea as well as cold. We do get a fair share of tea lovers!
Today we had a debate at work over which was better. It got pretty heated to my surprise. Customers were even joining in on it. We actually casted votes and added it up at the end of the day. Here are the options we offered. I'll reveal what my customers said when the poll is over! Results shocked me.

I generally lean towards stronger coffee's taken black, but I enjoy many teas as well. A strong cup of coffee in the morning and a nice cup of chamomile at night are both lovely.

I I drink both tea and coffee and soda and water. I prefer coffee over tea but have tea when ever I fancy it.

I'd rather have tea, preferably green or oolong. But in practice, I often have coffee. It's just far more readily available with the people I live with, and it's a lot easier to just have that than deal with the many issues that come with making my own tea (since I use leaves and not bags).

Strongly prefer tea. I grew up drinking unsweetened black iced tea (southern sweet tea sans the sweet). I like dragonwell (green), genmaicha (green with toasted rice), jasmine green, coconut oolong, and silver needle white tea.

I love both my tea and coffee iced and don’t usually care for warm beverages.

I also make a really good Thai Tea.

I mostly just drink tea or water. The whole teamaking process just feels like a calming ritual to me and I really like it for that reason and of course the variety of flavors.

When I was a child I was introduced to tea and enjoyed it. Then when I was a teenager I tried coffee and never looked back.
Well, thats not entirely true, I do enjoy green tea on occasion and to be honest, there are so many tea's out there I haven't tried. But overall, coffee is my go to morning beverage
