As an American who moved to the UK, I have both every day. I used to find making tea rather inconvenient in the States because of how long it would take the kettle to get to boiling. In the UK it's lightning fast.

Cup or two of coffee in the morning to bring me out of my sleep stupor, cups of tea throughout the rest of the day.

I mixed 2 oz of coffee with 365 mL of vodka, that counts, right?
Drink major sippy break.webp

I know espresso is a concentrated form of coffee this is what I love is a Ristretto

I mainly drink Green tea/Matcha strait no chaser. Drinking high quality Usucha from a chawan is amazing. Oolong and Raw Puer are amazing as well. Sometimes I drink Coffee but it's hard to get excited about it or really enjoy it because after having lived in Seattle most coffee is quite underwhelming. I guess I should get an espresso machine at some point. Mugicha is good too.

It takes Hollywood celebrities to sell products such as George Clooney for Nespresso

I drink coffee every morning because I really like the way it smells.

I do however, prefer tea 'on paper'. It usually has more caffeine content than coffee and it's not as acidic. Also it has a way broader range of flavor profiles. And it tends to be cheaper!

A brown sugar cortado is really good to wake up
Okay what is a cortado?

I don't know what's a cortado with you?

But for reals it's an espresso with equal amount of warm milk

I'm willing to bet some of OPs customers just come in for soda instead of coffee or tea

I should add the I really like matcha taken plain too, but I don't drink it as often as I'd like as it tends to be a bit more pricy then the alternatives here. It's a nice treat when I splurge though.

Joking aside, I do love tea, green tea and black forest tea, with a bit of honey.
As for coffee, usually black for regular coffee, but I do like a vanilla mocha latte from time to time

Coffee when I wake up, tea during the day but thats actually pretty rare.

Most days its coffee for breakfast and water throughout the day.

I started drinking tea as a little kid but coffee has had me in a vice-like grip since started working properly.

@Ume So what's the final verdict?
Oh shit. I absolutely forgot. Lmao

Soooo thinking back, the Tea vote won by 2 when we tested customers. So tea is superior to coffee. There I said it.

I can see what Vogue has to say about tea, it makes her float in the air. Whether hot or cold tea, I can understand at a health conscious stand point about it.

I am mainly a green tea enjoyer these days, however Coffee also has it's own health benefits even though they may not be as numerous as tea. I think I read somewhere that coffee aids in liver health in some way, which is nice. Coffee might also be more effective as a pre-workout supplement.

Coffee supports liver detoxification

Does the thought of it make you angry?

I suppose tea being preferred by more people makes sense when you consider how many varieties of tea there are, with something for everyone. Only about half the people I know drink coffee, whereas nearly all of them drink some type of tea.

I think tea won the caffeine poll I did a while ago, though I don't remember.

I prefer coffee over tea myself. If I make it at home I use half and half and sugar free chocolate and peanut butter syrups. If I get it from somewhere I'm not too picky though I usually get almond milk or some other milk substitute. The last coffee I had several days ago was a dark chocolate banana super sugary drink from Dutch Bros, a pretty common drive-thru chain in the PNW. Though on the daily I stick to Gfuel with an occasional energy drink.
