GBC The Fun-Filled Bug/Glitch To Skip Brock's Gym

Welcome to my favorite bug/glitch in all of Pokemon:

This is incredibly satisfying to pull off, and it made feel like a fucking mastermind as I was performing it — I hate "border guard" NPCs and getting one back at one of them felt like mana from the gods for tween-me.

Too bad it was already patched by the time Yellow rolled around (that's where it would have been needed the most).

Ever attempted it?

Basically this only occur on the emulator VBA since inacurrate emulation causes it

I think that the only gyms in Pokemon that are actual gyms (somewhat) are the Fighting Type ones

The only one that's actually a gym, they dropped the ball on and called a "dojo".

And how unfair is it to have it in the only town in the entire region that sits not only next to the one gym that can decimate it, but also a short distance away from Lavender town, which can also decimate it?
