Now Microsoft should end the console business, stick with steam and PC, and sell Rare back to Nintendo.
even if they buy it back, it's not the same Rare Ware from the early 2000's most people from back in the day already left the companyto think there's still people holding on to the idea of Nintendo saving Rare after 25 years, talk about never moving on.
I’ve got about 200 games across Xbox OG, 360, and One just sitting there like hostages. It's all good if Mrs. Bond decides to end Xbox as a console, as long as we can still play our "legacy" Xbox titles on Windows PC.They say, "This is an xbox" But I still can't play my OG and 360 library of games on my Windows PCs.
It's what needs to happen. They have the resources, and are better than anybody at emulation and software.
It's "Hasty Delivery" from Hamster & Gretel. She's one of my favorite villains ever because she just took up stealing after "35 failed startups and three bankruptcies" -- relatable AF.Nice pfp by the way @Waffles . Is it from somewhere or did you make it ?
Oh hey it’s on Disney plus, which is already included in my phone plan, I’ll give it a look. It's "Hasty Delivery" from Hamster & Gretel. She's one of my favorite villains ever because she just took up stealing after "35 failed startups and three bankruptcies" -- relatable AF.
I didn't delete shit. If someone else did, then fine, but I like to trust people to shut up on their own without me getting involved. You are deleting blatant joke responses to spiteful posts begging for widespread industry collapse.
No reason to get worked up, huh? Let's just shit on game developers, hope they "learn lessons" and lose jobs over whatever. No skin off the backs of freeloaders.
I thought that 3 years ago, but nowadays makes no sense. There are mini PC's smaller and faster than Xbox Series S for the price of the console on clearance. And you have the extra of being able to use it for everything you want.I wouldn't mind picking up a Series X/S for cheap on clearance. I'd probably just set it up as an emulation machine that I can easily move around from room to room.
I am sorry to tell you that you built up the computer wrong, very wrong. If you spent that amount of money in a computer for playing videogames means you know little about how to take the most about hardware. First of all, forget about any GPU that costs over 400€, everything is overpriced and you don't need to pay their prices. Go to second hand market if necessary, and you will find impressive deals. A CPU? You absolutely don't need to spend more than 200€ in a CPU for playing EVERYTHING. A motherboard? around 100-120€ will do perfectly. The rest of things are cheap enough, and no need a stupidly fancy case. The power supply needs to be enough to cover everything with a margin of 40%. The disk can be SSD or if you feel fancier, a NVMe. Any PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 will do, and 1TB disks are very cheap. This is way below 1000€. If you go second hand with everything, you can get several deals and reduce the price almost by half. Not nearly as true as people like to pretend. I just built a new PC about three months ago and it cost me over $3,000 for modern hardware that wasn't even top of the line, and it STILL Can't play a lot of modern games at max setting because of how terribly optimized video games now are. A new console is literally 1/5th of that cost though they still struggle to perform for a lot of releases.
True dat, the market is so much different now. Getting an affordable mid-to-high range pc is a lot easier than before and better long term solution with more stuff you can do on it. And personally I don’t like high end games that much, I’m ok playing mid range games or indies till the end of time.I thought that 3 years ago, but nowadays makes no sense. Yeah lol. Basically all this.I am sorry to tell you that you built up the computer wrong, very wrong. Just wanna make a quick correction. Was like $3000 CAD but in USD I'd probably be around $2000. I don't know enough about PC building so I got a pre built HP Omen and have been able to run games at 4k no problem. Maybe not the most economical but I've been happy with it.That probably about how much I paid for mine, but I haven't had any performance issues. Then again I'm not playing these big budget games on day one. Also it's not fair to directly compare. You have to remember you're not just getting a little box for games, you're getting a whole ass PC.
Well, yeah, that's one of the society problems, we can't know everything, so it's not your fault. There are companies that do the work for us and charge us premium prices for things that are not. The PC you bought is probably worth half the price if we count raw power and find somebody that knows how to do something similar, but that's how it is.Just wanna make a quick correction. yeah I've had it for a few years and at the time the convenience of just getting something already complete was more valuable to me. Never had a gaming PC before but using and troubleshooting this one has taught me a bit about it. Will probably attempt to build one myself whenever I need an upgrade.Well, yeah, that's one of the society problems, we can't know everything, so it's not your fault. I feel dumb when a plumber or an electrician comes to my home to fix something and charges me a lot of money, and maybe you could fix it by yourself, so don't worry about it :)
I think the ACTUAL PC parts were closer to 2,000, but I bought a fuckton of hard drives too. So I stand corrected on my own point.I thought that 3 years ago, but nowadays makes no sense. I've built too many PC's and have seen tons of PC's that I didn't build to see most of the people do not know what are they doing with their money, and they are just repeating what they have, like having something expensive would mean anything.
Then the PC is for something specific, not games. There is no point on buying many drives for one PC for playing games, the purpose should be a NAS. Disks can be as expensive as a car. The confusion was to just telling how much you spent and talk about playing modern games, like for playing games a PC this expensive would be needed.I think the ACTUAL PC parts were closer to 2,000, but I bought a fuckton of hard drives too. So I stand corrected on my own point.
A good pc nowadays costs 5 years of Ultimate Pass subscription
Glad X360 emulation is more viable but I'd still prefer if we natively got their games on PC.I did appreciated quite a lot the 360 and their exclusives.
