Description taken from the source website (Link at the bottom): Don't search. Don't ask. Don't learn. Don't know. And yet, you will explore. Know the truth. The Curse of Utaho, better known by it's original Japanese title "Utahonotatari", is a game created in Wolf RPG Editor by Payaaaaan and was originally published on July 15, 2012. Despite it's popularity in Japan, the game did not have an English translation for over a decade. This is an English translation of the game. This one was a request from a good friend of mine. Since he has done a lot for me and has been a part of my retro journey, I wanted to give him a little surprise with a game he would really wanted to see on here!

I hope you all enjoy this too as well! ::biggrin

Thanks!! looks like Blood Of Akemi.
(PD: Can´t believe its size is 1GB)
Ya for some reason it comes with a back up of itself but I don't know if it's vital to the game. I was going to have a friend check if it can be played without that backup file or if its vital for it one day.

That's a creepy game, I don't even have the courage to play it lol! There are a lot of rpg horror games translated and that's good. But I wanted to see more horror/investigative visual/sound novels translated, there almost none of them in any website I go. Like Kamaitachi no Yoru 1, 2 and X3, July for Dreamcast and 19:03 Ueno Hatsu Yakou Ressha. Some examples. Otogirisou was the first one I saw.
A lot of VNs have been getting translated kinda here and there lately from what I noticed so it seems your wish is somewhat coming true! Just may take time.

Anyone knows if this is similar to Uri's games? And by that I mean specifically:
-You have to play each twice to see the true endings (which aren't worth the effort);
-Even if you already know where the knife or the key are, you NEED to trigger the event when it's mentioned by someone to go there to pick it, meaning you can't skip ANY event in the game;
-Since they're dubbed and there's no skip, your first and second playthrough will last pretty much the same lenght;
I REALLY liked the second one, The Sandman. But the others I felt like a waste of my time, maybe not the first time around but DEFINITELY the second.
If it's anything like that I'll skip this one, but I'm very interested. These games are simple but can be very amusing, I really love OFF, Ao Oni, Yume Nikki, Witch's House was cool too.

Considering the first one came with a guide with the files you could play a bit of it to see if its a thing you may like or peak ahead to see if there are different endings like that if you dont mind spoilers.

I know the second one said it had like, I think, 3 bad endings and a true ending and I didn't see anything about replaying BUT take that as you will. I could be completely wrong.
