It was a simple suggestion that was in interest of a relevant portion of people here, and a simple "no" would have sufficed.

Instead, even if you disregard the uncivil people I still had to hear stuff like "there's a million places for that in the internet", as if sharing art with my peers arbitrarily becomes invalid because it's sexual. Never mind the artists here that uses this as a vehicle for their passion I guess.

The fact that uncivil people came and I actually wasted my time being the "bigger man in the room" did made the experience way more frustrating, so did the topic getting locked. Made me feel like the trans characters thread again where a few bad actors simply decided the subject at hand is a taboo.

I know in my thread's case the question was already answered, but it felt the mods had to rush to lock it because some people added heat to it.

Now I do realize I've hyperfixated on this and it's not that much of a big deal in the grand scheme of things. But there you go, now I've properly bitched about it, thanks for listening.

Why?

Besides of what I just said, I've came to the realization that IRL people that you have been close with for years can be more insensitive to your issues than friends you've met online not too long ago.

The problem with this feeling is that affects my social engagement as a whole.

Anyway what are your guys' favorite drink.
