The Anti-Rant Thread

Someone traded me for an almost new, ergonomic computer chair.

I'm feeling pretty great about it, even though getting it all the way up to my apartment was... a near medical emergency.
You are doing spins on that chair? ::winkfelix

About 98% of the time I'm good; everything is great. But sometimes I see, hear, or smell something and then bang: That's it. I was looking up some videos for a thread and spotted Ras G. And that was it. Then my daughter came down and handed me a Father's Day present early, a frame she painted, knowing that I love her art. Life really does seem to be about the things we leave behind, be it the bits of music you created or the evening you shared with some loved ones, way out at a lake you haven't thought about in years (but others have). Cheers, everybody.

I regret shopping at Buyee. Don't go unless you're rich :D

Some kids near my house had a normal birthday party, no hyper high noise/"Music", no blocking the road with party carps, no disturbing theme, just a normal kid party

Someone just sent me an audiobook series I had been hunting down for YEARS, which I'll now listen to while parking my ass on my shiny, spinny and new desk chair.

I'm in an explosively good mood.

Just reemplaze the audio for your audiobook

I'm slaking my thirst with a few ice cold schooners at the pub on a lovely 24 degrees winters day

I gave myself a good laugh with the kids detective novels that were thrown in among my requested & found audiobooks (probably as a joke, and a good one at that).

They obviously can't make the mysteries too complicated or too bloody, so they make them too funny instead — and I do mean FUNNY.

I have so far listened to one Sammy Keyes, one Minerva Keen and one Friday Barnes and I love them all, especially the latter — there's nothing quite like being slammed by dry British humor for four hours straight (and I have since requested the next one in the series, undoubtedly gathering priceless reactions all-around).

Found my nintendo switch in my tech box had been hunting for it for 3 days lol. Got it on charge so have choice of mario kart, fast and furious arcade or double dragon revive.

fufufu
Played Mecca Chameleon and was also either the last or 2nd to last person to be spotted. The drawing tablet really makes it unfair at times fufufu

I buy an old issue of National Geographic to obtain duplicate images for a collage i'm making, i'm not sure if making a dyptich or thryptich piece, but meanwhile i'm about to finish another one who will be published in a digital magazine called Lafarium.

Got the game Incredibox on the Android for cheap. It's an awesome app to create beats from a lot of different genres. I love music and a game like this is perfect to relax after a tiring day. After i finish a good beat, i'm gonna post it here ::peacemario

Here's the beat i've made, called Midnight Jog. Unfortunately i can't put the whole song because of the file size limitations of the forum
