Probably the thread that will break the forum XD Share and recommend your favorite anime/manga here!

I consider this one a masterpiece:

I have watched it like eight times since and I'm always noticing new things about it.

What about you?

Initially i wanna recommend some romcom anime but i can proudly recommend this one anime the literal peak of comedy and parody.

Since lemme tell you guys the only anime that i usually rewatch with my family on top of that was this anime soo if you haven't even tried it go and watch it. Heck if you can try and watch the movies.

When was this made?

I'll just post my 3x3's again
Manga:
3x3.jpg

From left to right. Top row: Ashita no Joe, Abara & Baki-Dou (I recommend the whole series though).
Middle row: Kakugo no Susume, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (I listed part 7 here, but again, I recommend the whole series) & Berserk.
Bottom row: Gantz, Dorohedoro & Jagi Gaiden (Admittedly, this one I can only really recommend if you're familiar with Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star already, but it's still a great manga).

Anime:
3x3 (1).jpg

From left to right. Top row: Mononoke, Redline & Eureka Seven
Middle row: Mobile Suit Gundam (0079), Gurren Lagann & Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
Bottom row: Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt & Angel's Egg

Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu
Very heart-warming. I recommend both the manga and anime. I think this has what it takes to be a good slice-of-life manga that many other ones I dabbled never come close.

Loved the anime, haven't read the manga.

Ashita no Joe! Yoooo! I love this manga so much! One of the best manga ever made in my opinion, Joe Yabuki is such a good character. (Also I love JJBA and Berserk as well! Though I really don't like Gantz that much tbh)

Another recommendation:

Ping Pong by Taiyou Matsumoto is such a beautiful and dynamic manga, one of the best sports manga and anime I’ve ever read and watched. I highly recommend both the manga and the excellent adaptation by Masaaki Yuasa.

City Hunter I've been watching as of recent. That's really good imo.

How many of these are OVAs, or single season mini-series? Like what @HYEROS posted..

I've seen Akira, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Vampire Hunter (D), and I even own a Special Edition copy of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade. I loved every single one of those. I just do not want to have to invest in a multi-season long anime ala Bleach or One Piece, etc..

I'm also the opposite of a "pearl-clutcher." I'm not offended by simple fan service, or more extreme stuff like Redo of a Healer.. As long as there's an actual compelling story and decent animation..
