Game Description:

This is a game that appears as one of the 42 games ported to the Mega Drive Mini (known in North America as the Sega Genesis Mini). It is a port of Sega's 1988 arcade version created by M2.

Unlike the rare Japan Mega Drive version that only has the visuals of the arcade version but isn't a faithful port, this version is a true conversion of the arcade version to Mega Drive/Genesis. With some additional QOL features as well for good measure.

The Japan version has a how to guide of how to play the game, but it's in Japanese. The USA version just cycles to the high score screen instead.

Oooh damn, I always thought the dump I had was World region, when it was actually the USA/EU version, I had no idea the Japan release for the mini was slightly different.

Jist to clarify, the ✌️Japan version✌️was also released here, I grew up with the Mega Drive version and many years later when I learned that in the US it's considered a super rare super expensive game I wish I kept my old copy, we had the game here in the Asian region much like many "Japan exclusives" and despite being a big Tetris fan I always felt that game felt off, music is iconic though especially if you like me grew up with it, playing Puyo Puyo Tetris on PS3 in 2014 hearing remixes of both the Gameboy and Mega Drive versions really put a smile on my face.
From what country are you? If can ask
