The long awaited hack that meshes Metroid Fusion and Super Metroid utilizing the latter as an engine, possibly creating the best version of the former.

Tbh, I don't have much problems with the difficulty when it's about enemies or bosses. Yeah, I'm dying over and over, but that's because I have two left hands and fingers with glass bones.

But I do have a problem with the parts where you can get stuck or you progressed "too fast"... I don't know if that's because of the difficulty, or just the map design not trying to stop me to "progress wrong" (which would be weird because the hackrom locks your progress behind these computers that can unlock the doors anyways), but I did experimented these stucks because I "progressed wrong" too many times, is kinda bothering and I truly don't want to check a guide (If there's even one), mostly because it would kill the magic of exploring the map by myself.
Wait... did you got locked somewhere? Because when you do certain sequence breaks, it makes the game easier in some points, due to certain flags being lifted.

(Mainly, some of the SA-X encounters)

Anyway, where you got stuck?

It's quite good so far, closer to what Fusion should have been, I feel, although the map needs some improvements (I got stuck while morphballing through a tunnel because I managed to unmorph when I clearly shouldn't have been able to, for example).

Don't lnow if it's just me, but there's a button swap in the v1.2 patch you uploaded. Two of my buttons shot my beams and my item selection button is on my right shoulder button. Did you prepatch this with the GBA format?

I'll definitely download both albeit I'm more used to gba controls
If you're going to first try Fusion GBA, you should start with this hack :

It has all the normal features of the original game (and you could play through it without even realising you're playing a hack) but it also has some kind of sequences breaks which could help you switch to X-Fusion or other Super Metroid hacks later on.

Beat this a couple weeks ago when the update came out.

I actually like this version more then the GBA Fusion, even with its kind of high damage( made me stop trying to tank my way through it).
My only problem is that i think the save stations are few and far between so i wouldn't look down on someone to useing save states on their first couple tries

I'm playing this shit on my retroid pocket classic (typing on it as well) should I get the GBA or ends controls version?

Sorry, my bad. I'm new here so I don't know how this Website/Forum works, but hey, that error won't happen again, I just warn you that if there is any text error it's because I'm using Google translator xD. Greetings 🖐️
No problem, no harm done, we're just trying to keep things organized. Languages other than English can be used in their specific forum areas.

Imagine doing all that hard work for years, only to gate-keep it to the more hardcore fans, and even they have issues with it.
My hope is that future revisions will bring the hack closer to a skill baseline of normalcy, but yeah, it's an issue.

A technical marvel for a SNES game ,even you can play it on a cheap china version everdrive without the need of any special chip.

Aside from that, this is an awful experience with artificial difficult levels, horrible map design, campy storyline and childish dialogue, stupid enemy placement and an absurd sense of terror mostly inclined on the frustrating of the situations.

You are required to waste your precious time mastering a game to enjoy this crap piece of art.

If you want a fan game created by a single person after more than 10 years of development, play AM2R instead of this Wallapop-style fanfic hack.
This truly is the Zelda 3 Parallel Worlds of Super Metroid romhacking

Please, English only.

By the way consider using Hari-82's edge smoothing shaders on retroarch, they actually make the sprites and portraits feel HD without having that typically ugly melted look edge smoothing shaders typically have

I agree with almost everything you said except the dialogue. That part is poor and I wish it weren't there.
Fair, some of Metaquarius's older videos show similar degrees of goofiness in the dialogues which probably indicates this was more of a personal touch for an anime-esque level of dramatic effect rather than something meant to be accurate. I personally enjoy them even if I really don't see Samus saying those things in, let's say, Metroid Dread or something lol

Whenever I comment it's to express my excitement and gratitude for the games posted here but I really want to emphasize how this one in particular is beyond special and absolutely insanely good. It has a special place in my heart. The difficulty mixed with the absolutely enthralling level and enemy designs, the fun dialogues and the vastness of it all. This is genuinely the best rom hack I've ever played in my life, and probably one of the best games as well. I've genuinely been thinking about X-Fusion's storyline since it dropped and am actively replaying it to the same if not higher degree of other Metroid games. This effectively feels like an official game to some capacitiy, even if some dialogues contrast with Samus's portrayal in other games and feel more similar to how she is depicted in the manga (which is imo beyond charming). Honestly well worth the wait, and considering it's actively receiving updates, this is worth following. Best hack ever. Absolute technical marvel. 100000/10.
