This is more than a visual hack, if you've played Super Mario Bros. Mini you may have an idea. Hack Info: Created by: JBoGre Version: 1.0 Release Date: 06 July 2026 Source: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/9785/

There is actually an official Super Mario Bros port for the Gameboy Color... it is not considered a good game.
Not talking about that one, which I think it's a huge missed opportunity as it does 100 things better than the original but kills it with one fatal flaw, much is the case with literally ever Mario port to a handheld.

But we were referring to this https://mico27.itch.io/super-mario-bros-mini

Once again, the second quest is the highlight, not to spoil anything, I highly recommend that game.

If this is anything like that SMB Mini GBC hack, then I welcome it! I enjoy the GBC hack. THX for the upload!!

looks like when i change the Vertical or Horizontal scale too far on my Morph4K.

Mario got more levels but now he has bad eyesight, one soul for another.

Edti: mario took the RETRO VISION pill

I feel most comments missed the point, when I made the description "this is more than a visual Rom hack" and compared it to Super Mario Bros. Mini on GBC I thought it was clear, but let me explain...

This hack is twice the game, world 8 is not the end of the game but only half way, the second half is the interesting par
oh that's dumb then. thanks for clearing that up

i love this, at first I was like huh but watching the video sold me on the experience

At first I thought 'why would anyone do this?', but as soon as I tried it I saw the appeal.
The fact that there's more game to play only makes it better!

I read that alright and that's why I mentioned trying it out anyway. I do appreciate you publishing this though. Thank you.

The more negative comments this is getting based on its (actually okay, y'know?) art style, the more I'm tempted to give this a try just so I can (a) play through to loop 2 and thus experience the real game, and (b) henceforth claim it's my favourite ROM hack ever.

finally a way to play SMB on your smart watch. i would've expected the ROM to be smaller considering the pixel style, im kinda shocked its just about the same as vanilla.
