Ooh! A very thorough mod to an already great game! A neat way to experience something new from something old!

Agreed. And, honestly, I consider Suikoden II such a massive achievement in gaming as art, that making any alterations to the plot is already audacious--and then, beyond that, having the sheer audacity to call them improvements is abominable.
I dunno why, but comments and takes like these either make me roll my eyes, laugh, or both.
Oh well.
Mods don't really take away from the OG experience at all, and if they wanna be 'audacious' then let 'em. I love mods precisely for that reason.

Nothing says you love something then wanting to pick it apart and seeing if you could put your own spin on it.
That's the nature of fan works in any form or medium.

  • "Events are improved"
  • "Endings are improved"

The extreme uninformativeness I've come to expect from mod authors. In addition to being useless information for the public/audience, it also shows a lack of respect to the original art. If a person is going to change the game, OK, but at least describe what changes you made and why.

No, not the bugfixes version.

For the city of Muse, it will open again.

McDohl's event you can play the event as in the original, and at the same time those who missed McDohl's event will reopen after the final battle.

Best wishes

Is this based on bug-fix version?
I prefer MC remains on his original red clothes.
Blue clothed MC is also in rope climbing mini-game along with green clothed MC.

If McDohl's event has to wait until final battle, then getting a recipe from Gremio would also have to wait.

Is the city hall of Muse would be reopened or remain closed? Some people might be missing to collect Old Book Vol. 3 from there, which the last chance was until Muse fell.
