Tread carefully. I hear it's extremely common to catch the Woke Mind Virus™ at this time of year.i'm going to read these for myself and see what exactly it's all about. :)
Everyday we keep losing our loved ones to the Woke Mind Virus™.Pah! I caught the woke-virus from Harry Potter books but the virus wasn't activated until 2022!!!
you're in for a frakking roller-coaster of emotions and ass-kicking battle scenes. He's got his Cosmere Universe which is where most of his Fantasy stuff takes place. They're all connected at some point, mostly in Storm Light Archive and I can give you a read order if you're interested.i'm going to read these for myself and see what exactly it's all about. :)

I the obvious Politics involved in HP aside i never got anything overly political. Just some magical asshole wanting to kill a bunch of normies. I mean of thats political every fantasy book with an evil emperor is a political shaming series. We have 1984 and Fahrenheit 451 for that.Am i the only one who read both Animorphs and Harry Potter growing up without making them political? Because it really sounds like I am. o.o
Harry Potter books are very popular and therefore always were subject of so many misunderstandings that many people found a reason to label the books and therefore its writer "evil" and tons of things by trying to distort what the books are about even when the books actually supports the opposite of what these idiots believe it does lol. In the end people hate the books for no reason, or they don't see its point at all.Am i the only one who read both Animorphs and Harry Potter growing up without making them political? Good versus evil has existed in all kinds of stories from around the world. It's all about how exciting the story is.Harry Potter books are very popular and therefore always were subject of so many misunderstandings that many people found a reason to label the books and therefore its writer "evil" and tons of things by trying to distort what the books are about even when the books actually supports the opposite of what these idiots believe it does lol. However Harry Potter naturally has a political undertone but they are mostly elements for world building to make even world of wizard and witches become a human world that real life situations also valid in their world too, but people would like to see Harry Potter books as subtle mockery of the government, something akin to Animal Farm lol. Some even saw the books as a way to destroy Christianity lolol!!! For example I even saw a guy on Twitter who claims he is Oxford alumni said the writer is fascist because she glorified this "pure-blood" thingy... He didn't understand what the book is about at all. I shit on Oxford diploma lolol.
In the end all the books are about synthesis of good old already known Northern European legends in storylized format and that's it. People speak of words to cast a spell, tons of generic creatures, simple school setting, writer was interested to write a book about so many characters and their personality development, she likes the way how "people are not like how they seem like" via Snape and Dumbledore characters as prime examples and all. In the end she enjoyed emulating these characters in such a simulation in such a fictional world and that's it. But there are undeniable unrealism regarding gender of peoplewhich can offend boys and men which is only because she is a writer, not a psychologist. Her unrealistic male characters are just because of she suck at writing realistic male characters and that's it lol. However people would like to ignorantly call the writer a sexist because of it despite she has no such intention whatsoever. I would say despite overall she cares about writing stories that make sense and therefore characters being "realistic" all she actually cares about creating interesting characters that can exist in real life.
so, this is a book series that got made into a game?seems like a great book to game idea, too bad the author's woke virus went terminal on book 5 i hear.
And Harry Potter books are more than that though.Good versus evil has existed in all kinds of stories from around the world. It's all about how exciting the story is.
No, but considering the world building and attention to detail, there's good material for games if said games are made with equal care, if you ask me.so, this is a book series that got made into a game?
Which would be bloody hard to do. The only thing I keep coming back to is a Musou type game where you run around as a Shard Bearer for one of the High Princes armies early in the Shattered Plains war. But that just seems like it would be cheap. No, but considering the world building and attention to detail, there's good material for games if said games are made with equal care, if you ask me.
