The anime changes a few things here and there and it even add some Gundam references. It's a good adaptation i think. It also adds a lot of fanservice.

Just finished season 3 of Fire Force. Didnt like the ending. Started losing interest when it showed Arthur vs Dragon.

The eye-catches of Patlabor are amazing.

I finished watching Great Mazinger (1974), the followup to Mazinger Z in 1972.
Instead of it's original running of 92 staggering episodes, Great instead goes for a 56 episode runtime and was staggering for breath at the end trying to wrap things up perfectly. But overall ... I love this anime deeply which defied my expectations completely. I'm a fan of Tetsuya Tsurugi and the Great for the rest of my life. Ichiro Mizuki's amazingly talented voice gave so much life to this show just as he did in Mazinger Z.

The opening theme is just INCREDIBLE.

So many moments of this anime was incredible to me, to list them all off the top of my head would be an impossible ask, so I took screenshots. I wish to send some here too.

Blessed be the Mazinger, the father of all mecha and the nursing father which truly made me realize I fully love super robots with all my heart.

My next watch is Getter Robo which also aired in 1974.

I think I read that the series is a separate universe right? I'd like to watch that one too after watching the sequel film. The original OVAs animation is seriously good!
