I'm secretly a big fan of Enterprise. Don't tell anyone.

Yeah, nu-Trek has been largely disappointing. I've been doing a rewatch of the franchise, catching up on items I had missed, and none of it has really landed. The best of it is probably the second half of Lower Decks and maybe the beginning seasons of Strange New World. However, SNW may have some good episodes, it's yet to have any great episodes, and I found this most recent season to be a step in the wrong direction. LD I grew to enjoy after hating the first few seasons, and while I think it's a fun show, it's also such a different genre that it doesn't scratch the same itch.

Besides the original series and the underrated animated series with the original cast reprising their roles TNG is my absolute favorite. I especially liked the reading rainbow TNG episode.

Yes it is worth it. Star trek the next generation and star trek voyager is great at night.

by the way data is probably relatable because hes the first ive seen anyone close to autistic being cast in a show. Hes also an android which i feel like at times.

I actually do think that SNW has great episodes: "Ghosts of Illyria", "Spock Amok", "Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach", "A Quality of Mercy", "The Broken Circle", "Ad Astra per Aspera" and "Those Old Scientists" to name a few. However, from "Subspace Rhapsody" to the third season, it becomes hyperfocused on trying to be the next Buffy the Vampire Slayer rather than good Star Trek, and it ends up losing its way.
